Earth Day River Cleanup

You are invited to volunteer with the Sailing Club of Washington (SCOW) and Surfrider DC for an Earth Day clean up event at the Washington Sailing Marina on Sunday, April 19 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm!

• Who: Friends and members of SCOW, Surfrider DC, and the Washington Sailing Marina

• What: Celebrate Earth Day and honor the planet by beautifying the area around the Potomac River! We will gather around 2:00 to kick off the event and pass out supplies, spent a couple of hours picking up trash, and then end with a social hour and snacks.

• When: Sunday, April 19 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.

• Where: Washington Sailing Marina, 1 Marina Dr, Alexandria, VA 22314

• Note: Please wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes. Gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags will be provided, though feel free to bring any additional supplies you might bring.
